Brandon Willer is a television writer and producer whose work spans broadcast, cable, and streaming. He has written for Walker (The CW), Clarice (CBS), Hunters (Syfy), and King & Maxwell (TNT), and has developed projects across FX, HBO Max, and CBS, including Paradise with Warren Littlefield, an adaptation of Marc Smerling’s podcast Crooked City with Colorforce producing, and El Diablo (DC Universe) at HBO Max. He also served as a Senior Writer on Lucky Lucy, a video game adaptation set in the Michael Connelly Bosch universe.
His perspective is shaped by a personal background rooted in high-stakes storytelling. Growing up in a large Latino family with relatives in the CIA, he saw firsthand the human impact of secrecy, pressure, and complex institutional systems, insights that continue to inform his work in character-driven procedural dramas.
A longtime member of the Writers Guild of America, Brandon is a graduate of the CBS Writers Mentorship Program and the 2025 WGA Showrunner Training Program. In addition to his professional work, he has spent the past six years teaching at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he leads courses in pilot development, rewriting, television structure, and collaboration. His teaching focuses on helping emerging writers bridge the gap between craft and the realities of the industry.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Brandon holds a BFA in Writing for Screen and Television from USC and lives in Los Angeles with his family.
